4th Edition of PMBOK Standard Available

December 2008--The Project Management Institute, PMI®, has released the 4th edition of "The Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge," or PMBOK®. First released in 1996, the PMBOK is perhaps the most widely used standard for documenting the field of project management.
Relevant project management documents such as issue logs are now included in the standard. Some consolidation of content was performed and, for those interested, the PERT estimating methodology which was dropped from the 3rd edition of the standard is once again included.
Schedule Associates' classes are consistent with the contents of the new version of the PMBOK®.
The standard is provided in softcopy to PMI® members or is available for purchase at bookstores or from PMI® directly.
