Schedule Associates Provides Training Under WIRED Grant
|
January 26, 2009--Schedule Associates has completed facilitating "Project Management Principles and Practices" and "Comprehensive Microsoft Project" classes for personnel at the Infotonics Technology Center in Canandaigua, New York. The training was made possible by a WIRED (Workforce Innovation in Regional Economic Development) grant. WIRED grants are federally funded initiatives meant to improve workforce retention and development and economic development in a nine county area in upstate New York.
Colleen Kaiser, Schedule Associates President, noted "This was a particularly gratifying experience for us as three or four organizations had to work together in order to make this training happen. While we often work with high technology firms, it was particularly nice to be a small part of the leading edge work being done by the talented folks at the Infotonics Center right here in Upstate New York."
